Paintings With the Kids

 

Pandemic 2020 and the kids are enrolled in online school. Fall 2020 online classes and work from home for the parents! I learned all the new names of Princesses, Avengers and Disney characters watching movies with the kids! Both of them want to now decorate and set up their own room. Ariv wants Avengers in his room and Neti wants princesses! Ariv wants all in a shade of blue and Neti with a pink - coral combination. I bought the curtains and selected the paints. I decided spending some quality time with the kids and teach them Acrylic and water color painting! I did draw all the characters myself on canvas each on a 8 by 10 canvas so that is size 5-6 or 8 year old can handle to paint on! I gave kids the freedom to select the colors that match the characters. I taught them to use the correct size of brushes and right shades and right use of water as needed. We can now mount on both of their bedroom walls! The princesses if mounted all together will be 40 * 30 inch and Avengers will be 32 *  30 inch. I choose to mount each character canvas independently on a shaded wall in each of their rooms! The kids were soo excited!
