Tips & Techniques

Basic beading

Necklaces/bracelets

1. Select beads of your choice

2. Use the jewelry board to organize the flexible beading wire with the length little longer (about 2 inches more) than the length of necklace needed. You can either use needle and jewelry thread or flexible beading wire can be used.

3. Organize beads with the design and pattern on the jewelry board.

4. Once you finalize the pattern, sew the beads together

5. At both the ends of necklace, add crimp beads

6. Add hooks at both the ends after adding crimp beads

7. Turn around the flexible beading wire backwards through the hook and crimp bead and few beads

8. Make the necklace tight enough so that you cant see the wire/thread

9. Use flat plier to press the crimp beads on both sides

10. Necklace is ready

Earrings

2. Use the jewelry board to organize the pattern of the beads for the earrings

3. Use two earrings pieces and arrange the beads for the two earrings. Weave beads by hand

4. Use the round plier to bend the end of both the earring pieces at 90 degree

5. Leave 1/2 inch of the earring piece and cut the excess using the wire cutter
