Oats, Craked wheat and mixed lentil pancakes
I wanted to cook a healthy brunch for us on a Sunday morning. I did not feel like eating oats, eggs or cereal with milk. I came up with this quick recipe and my husband and kid liked it.
Ingredients:
1 cup Oats
1 cup Cracked wheat
1/4 cup Urad dal
1/4 cup Toor dal
1/4 cup Mug dal
1/4 cup Masoor dal
1 onion finely cut
5-6 green chillies
3-4 cloves garlic
1/4 inch ginger stick
Cilantro leaves
Salt to taste
Method:
1. Wash and soak all the ingredients in water for about 5-6 hours
2. Grind them together in a blender.
3. Add onion, cilantro leaves, green chillies, garlic and ginger.
4. Grease a pan with oil and make pancakes.
5. Serve hot with yogurt and green chilly sauce or hot chutney of your choice.
