Morning Breakfast smoothie!


Breakfast smoothie is the best way to start your day, get the anti-oxidants from fruits, vitamin A and C, iron, fiber and dehydrating properties of coconut water. My kids love this! Ariv and Neti are very excited and help me with this every morning. Generally, kids and even adults cannot eat couple fruits at a time, just difficult to get kids to sit and eat. This smoothie is a life saver. This is like an appetizer for my son and gets really hungry after couple hours after drinking this smoothie.

Ingredients:

3 Medium Oranges

1 Medium Apple

2 cups Coconut water

Handful walnuts

Handful Almonds

Protien powder (1 tbsp per person for adults and kids above 4)

Vitamix mixer

Method:

1. Clean and cut up apple and add to Vitamix mixer

2. Cut up Oranges and add to Vitamix mixer

3. Add coconut water, almonds and walnuts. If adults are drinking, add protein powder. Turn the smoothie mode on and smoothie is ready is 3 minutes!
