Veggie Hakka Noodles
Christmas eve feast! - making indo chinese for dinner and one of our family friends are visiting. The kids are excited about the Christmas tree and Santa coming in tonight. and about playing with their friend who is visiting. The kids love hakka noodles !
Ingredients:
2 blocls Chings hakka noodles
1 red pepper
1 green pepper
2 carrots
1/2 cup peas
2 cup mushrooms chopped
4-5 cloves garlic
1/8 inch organic ginger
2 tbsp olive oil/ peanut oil tastes better
2 tbsp soya sauce
1 tsp vinegar
Salt to taste
Method:
1. In a pot, heat 4-5 quarts water and add 1 tsp salt. When it boils, add the noodles and let stand for 6 minutes. Please read instructions on the packet, since can change based on brand.
2. Drain in strainer and add cold water. Then add 1 tbsp oil for noodles to separate.
3. In a wok, heat 2 tbsp oil, add garlic and ginger and soya sauce. Add noodles and stir fry. After 2-5 minutes, set aside.
4. Then stir fry the cut vegetables one by one.
5. Toss noodles together with vegetables.
6. Serve hot with paneer chilly.
