Pohe Chiwada snack

Prepping the pantry with some small evening snack. The kids and my husband love this!


Ingredients:

4 cups pohe (Flattened - from Indian store)

2 tbsp oil

2 tsp cumin

2 tsp mustard seeds

2 tsp amchur powder

asafoetida

7-8 garlic cloves chopped finely

1/4 cup peanuts

8-10 curry leaves

handful cilantro chopped

2 tbsp chilly powder

1 tbsp black salt

1/2 cup chana/dalia

1/2 cup peanuts roasted

Salt to taste

Method:

1. In a pot, add oil and heat. Add cumin, mustard, asafoetida, curry leaves, cilantro, garlic, peanuts, chilly salt, amchur powder, chana.

2. Then add pohe and saute for a minute.

3. Turn off heat and let stand for an hour.

4. Store in airtight container.
