Tandoori Chicken!
Tandoori Chicken ! My all time favorite food that I get at the Indian restaurant when visited as a family! I do not like the one served at buffet since its not juicy enough! I tried to come up with own recipe at home using oven. I am making for saturday evening dinner along with some Indo Chinese food!
Ingredients:
Marinade:
12 chicken drumsticks skinless and cleaned
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp turmeric
4 tbsp Shaan Tandoori Chicken Masala
3 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp Red food color (optional)
1 tsp Tandoori masala
Method:
1. Marinate the chicken drumsticks with all ingredients from marinade. Let it marinade overnight for 10-12 atleast, put in freeze. Use a sharp meat knife and make slits in the chicken so that the spice stays and absorbs in the chicken!
2. Preheat oven to 375 F. Bake.
3. Add the tandoori chicken tray covered with aluminium foil in oven. Let bake for 20 minutes.
4. Open oven and remove the aluminium foil. Use tongs to rotate chicken drumsticks.
5. Close oven and let bake for 15 minutes.
6. Broil High for 3-5 minutes for some browning.
7, Garnish with cilantro.
5. Serve hot as appetizer!
