Spinach Paratha (Tortillas/ Indian bread)

Neti really likes spinach paratha! I make lentils like matki or potato vegetable with it.

Ingredients:

1 bowl Spinach leaves

2 cups wheat flour

2 tbsp cumin

1 tsp Ajwain seeds

4 cloves garlic

4 green chilly

Salt to taste

Method:

​1. Boil water in a pan (just enough to soak the spinach leaves) and and salt. Add spinach leaves. Let stand for 10 mins.

2. Meanwhile blend cumin, green chillies, garlic, ajwain seeds together. Add green leaves with little water and blend.

3. Remove the mixture in a mixing bowl.

4. Add wheat flour to it and thoroughly mix together. The dough should look like play dough and not stick to your hands.

5. Make small dough balls and roll them into tortillas.

6. Heat a pan hot and put the rolled tortilla on pan to bake.

7. Add little butter on top when ready. Serve hot with dal, vegetable or hot sauce.
