Whole wheat pancakes!

I had meetings this week early morning at work so had to drop Ariv off for couple days at school's extended care. Ariv ate pancakes for breakfast at the school extended care and kept asking to eat those at home too! Here is my healthy version of the pancake recipe.

Ingredients:

To make batter:

1 cup whole wheat flour. Alternatively can use all purpose flour

2/3 cup Milk

1 egg

1 tbsp oil

1 tsp baking soda

1 tbsp butter (prefer Amul butter)

Pancake syrup

Strawberry for toppings (optional)

blueberry for toppings (optional)

Nutella for topping (optional)

PAM oil spray

Method:

1. In a miking dish, add wheat flour, milk, egg, oil, baking soda and remove lumps.

2. Let stand for 5 minutes.

3. Turn on griddle heat till hot.

4. Use oil spray or PAM

5. Pour 1 spatula batter and spread on griddle. Cook for 1-1.5 minutes. Put oil on sides.

6. Turn around and let cook for 1 minute.

7. Pancake is ready.

8. Remove in a dish and add a ball of butter, syrup, and fruits of choice (Strawberry, blueberry, banana), or nutella.

8. Serve hot and enjoy for breakfast!
