Banana Walnut Almond smoothie!
Breakfast smoothie is the best way to start your day, Smoothie is such a life saver to get kids eat more fruits in a day. This is like an appetizer for my son and gets really hungry after couple hours after drinking this smoothie. I make all different fruit smoothies - orange- apple smoothie, strawberry smoothie, orange smoothie, apple smoothie, cantaloupe smoothie. Banana walnut almond is my husband's favorite!
Ingredients:
4 Medium bananas (1 per person having smothie)
12 almonds
12 walnuts
2 cups Coconut water
1/2 cup cubed ice
Protein powder (1 tbsp per person for adults and kids above 4) - optional
Vitamix mixer
Method:
1. Add peeled banana to Vitamix mixer
2. Add almonds, walnuts, ice, coconut water to Vitamix mixer
3. Turn the smoothie mode on and smoothie is ready is 2-3 minutes!
