Spicy Tawa Chicken!

Cooking Spicy Tawa chicken for dear husband !! We can serve as an appetizer or eat as side dish with rotis or rice!







Ingredients:

Marinade:

1 lbs chicken cut into cubes

4 tbsp yogurt white plain

2 tsp turmeric

Tampering:

1 small cut red onion

4-5 red chilly cut into bite size pieces

2 jalapeno/serrano pepper slit into pieces (optional)

4-5 cloves garlic

1/8 inch organic ginger

2 tbsp olive oil/ peanut oil tastes better

4 -6 pepper corns

5-6 cloves

3 bay leaves

1 stick 1/2 inch cut cinnamon

2 tsp red chilly color powder

5-6 curry leaves

handful chopped cilantro

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp mustard seeds

1 tsp kalonji

pinch asafoetida

2 tbsp Chicken/Meat Masala (Shaan)

Salt to taste

2 tsp lemon juice

Method:

1. Marinate the chicken cubes in yogurt and turmeric powder for at least half hour.

2. Take 2 tbsp oil in pan and heat. Add cumin, mustard seeds, kalonji, asafoetida, curry leaves, red chillies, green chilly, garlic ginger paste, bay leaves and all other whole spices, and turmeric powder. Let sputter.

3. Add the finely cut onion. Saute till transparent.

4. Add chicken and stir fry.

5. After 2-5 minutes, add Chicken/Meat masala, lemon juice, salt.

4. Garnish with cilantro.

5. Serve hot with rotis or rice.
