Cilantro stems- Peanut sauce (chutney)
Cleaning up my freeze and pantry today!!! I have bunch of cilantro stems in freeze and peanuts in my pantry. I plan to make rice or lentil crepes in next few days. I making this green sauce (chutney) goes well with hot fritters or sandwiches or rice/flour crepes.
Ingredients:
1 cup peanuts
1/8 inch ginger
2 garlic cloves
2 tsp salt
sugar to taste
2 tsp lemon juice
bunch cilantro stems
4 green chilly
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp cumin seeds
asafoetida pinch
8-10 curry leaves
1 tsp turmeric powder
Method:
1. Grind all ingredients together. Add water as needed.
2. Tamper with a tbsp of ghee, asafoetida, mustard, cumin seeds, curry leaves, turmeric powder.
Enjoy with fritters or sandwiches or rice/flour crepes.
